    Welcome to the SoulWorker community!

When you create a character and enter the game, the key bindings guide pops up. It’s similar to other RPGs, so if you're used to this genre, you won't have any issues. If it's your first time, take a look and try pressing the keys one by one.
(You can recheck key bindings anytime in Game Menu ➔ Controls Guide, or by pressing 'Y').

Note on Gamepads: Controllers are supported, but post-launch support was pretty poor, so controller usage is mostly dead. Stick to Keyboard + Mouse.

    Recommended Settings Breakdown

There aren't strictly "mandatory" settings, but here are some options to make the gameplay much cleaner and smoother.

    1. Camera Settings
Path: ESC ➔ Settings ➔ Game Settings ➔ Camera

FOV Expansion (Field of View): TURN ON (Turn off everything else).
Skill Presentation Camera: Looks cool, but can make you dizzy. Recommended OFF.
Camera Shake: Same deal, recommended OFF to avoid motion sickness.
Camera Sensitivity: Adjust to your personal preference while playing.

    ---

    2. Graphics Settings
Path: ESC ➔ Settings ➔ Graphics Settings ➔ Quality

Anti-Aliasing: Turn OFF (Turn everything else ON if your PC can handle it).
Performance Note: Optimization in this game is pretty terrible, but enabling most visual settings makes the game look much better.
Glow Effect: Enable it early on if you like fancy visual effects. However, when you reach endgame raids, it is highly recommended to turn Glow Effect OFF to reduce visual clutter and lag.

    ---

    3. Chat Window Customization

By default, the chat window displays way too much clutter from the start. Since this is an online RPG, you'll want clean communication.

Recommended Chat Tabs to Enable: General / Party / League / Whisper / Emoticons.
Disable System/Global Notifications: Turn off system spam, server broadcast messages, and item drops.
How to Edit Tabs: Right-click on the tab name area at the top of the chat window to customize or turn off specific categories.
Tip: You can create separate custom chat tabs if you want to track damage numbers or review missed story dialogues later on.

    ---

Summary: If your PC specs are a bit low, turn off extra effects as suggested above for a smoother experience. None of these settings will hinder your gameplay progress!
