    ⚙️Equipment Upgrade & Overclock System
Everything you need to know about gearing up efficiently without wasting resources.

    1. Prerequisite: Trisha's VIP Level
    :emoji_warning: IMPORTANT WARNING:
If you do not have at least VIP Level 4 with NPC Trisha, DO NOT attempt to upgrade your gear. You will lose an immense amount of money and resources for nothing.

    * How to increase Trisha's VIP level? https://swtavern.com/threads/npc-affection-overview.33/.
    * Once Level 4 is reached, you can safely start considering upgrading your gear to +9.

    2. Gear Progression : Old Gear vs Final Raid Gear
As a new player, jumping straight to the latest (final) raid equipment is extremely difficult.

    Understanding the Difference:
    * Old Raid Gear (Previous tier): Does NOT require Anti-Destruction items or Energy Converters to adjust stats. Success rates for upgrades are significantly higher by default.
    * Final Raid Gear (Latest tier): Requires both Anti-Destruction items and Energy Converters to reroll stats.

    3. How Upgrading Works & Safety Rules
    1. Visit NPC Trisha in town and select Upgrade.
    2. Place your equipment in the slot.
    3. Click on Upgrade or Multi-Upgrade according to your preference.

    :emoji_warning: CRITICAL WARNINGS:
    * From +4 onwards: You MUST use Anti-Destruction! Breaking your gear requires Cash Shop items to restore.
    * Limited Anti-Destruction Check: When your limited Anti-Destruction items run out, the protection checkbox automatically unchecks itself. Always make sure the box stays checked before hitting upgrade!

    4. Resource Farming Guide

    :emoji_shield: Anti-Destruction
    * Alt Characters: Create alt characters for progression farming and exchange coins for Anti-Destruction packages.
    * Events: Provides permanent or limited-time Anti-Destruction items.
    * Gruton NPC & Cash Shop.

    :emoji_lock: Anti-Limiters
(Mandatory when reaching the max upgrade attempts on an item. You get 40 free attempts; after that, Anti-Limiters reduce the counter by 5 per use.)
    * NPC Alphie: Buy 3 per day (costs ~10M Zenny per day).
    * Quests: Red and Blue main/side quests.
    * Events & Cash Shop.

    :emoji_gem: Energy Converters
    * Alt Characters: Create alt characters for progression farming and exchange coins for Energy-Converters packages.
    * BP Exchange: 28,000 BP = 1 Energy Converter at bucker TV npc.
    * Drops & Raids: Garden of Plenty drops and Lunar Fall Hero (event limited).
    * Events & Cash Shop.

    :emoji_fire: OVERCLOCK SYSTEM GUIDE
Push your gear beyond +9 for massive stat boosts!

    1. What is Overclocking?
The Overclock (OC) system is an endgame enhancement mechanism that begins after reaching +9. It grants massive performance increases (stats & bonus options), but comes with significantly lower success rates and high failure penalties.

    * Overclock Stages: From +10 (OC) up to +15 (OC V).
    * Armor Bonus: Reaching +12 (OC II) and higher unlocks unique bonus options like More DMG: Boss / Named.

    2. How Failure Works: Meltdown & Protection
Unlike standard upgrades, failing an Overclock attempt carries severe consequences for your gear.

:emoji_warning: Failure without Protection (Meltdown State)
    * If an upgrade fails without using a Meltdown Protect item, your gear enters the Meltdown state.
    * What happens in Meltdown state? The item retains its current consolidation level, but can no longer be Overclocked.
    * Example: If you fail the upgrade from +12 to +13 without protection, your gear enters Meltdown state and remains at +12 permanently (unless repaired).

    :emoji_shield: Failure with Meltdown Protect
    * If you use a Meltdown Protect item during the attempt, your gear is saved from the Meltdown state.
    * Penalty: Upon failure, the item will immediately be reset back to +9.

    3. Pity Bonus System (Cumulative Success Rate)
To help with difficult upgrades, the game includes a success bonus stack when you fail:

    * +5% Rate Increase per Fail: Every time an upgrade fails at a specific level (e.g., +12), your success rate for that specific level increases by +5%.
    * Player Choice: You can manually decide whether or not to apply this accumulated bonus on your next attempt.
    * Bonus Reset: Once you choose to apply the bonus and the upgrade succeeds, the bonus rate resets back to 0%.

    4. Overclock Progression & Rates Table

    +10 (OC)420%600%-40%60%
